Looking for a brown black eyeliner pencil that does smudge

I don't mind paying for a more expensive one if it's worth the money. I'm looking for a creamy one that doesn't crumble or tug the eye area. Also one that you sharpen.

Have you tried Laura Mercier? I love her eye pencils.

I was going to say Laura Mercier! They do a coppery brown/black that I use a small brush to smudge in - really lovely. (they do a blue/black too which is gorgeous)

Bourjois and Maybelline both do good smudgy smokey eye pencils.

I like Revlon colorstay

Does smudge or DOESN'T?

No 7 do one with a smudger on the end which is good.

Bobbi brown or Estee Lauder double wear don't smudge.

Clinique quickliner with a smudgey sponge on the other end, MAC pencils are very soft. Topshop kohl is a brilliant budget option, they are identical to the MAC ones.

Maybelline Master Drama Kohl Liner is nice and bold and smudgy.

I like the sound of the Laura Mercier one. I will check out Maybelline & Colour stay.
