Waterproof mascara that stays put by day, but can be removed in shower at night

Not long now til my hols! I'll be getting my eyelashes tinted, but am also looking for a waterproof mascara that can survive heat and a little snorkelling, but can also be removed with relative ease at the end of the day.

It's years since I tried waterproof mascara - last time I tried it, it was hellish to remove.

Any suggestions?

No7 Stay Perfect is brill but weird...it is waterproof for the pool/sea/sobbing and survives my oily skin, but also removes with only water (WHAT IS THIS VOODOO?!). I use a hot flannel for 20s on each eye and then it comes off the lashes like spider legs - no smudging. Oddly satisfying!

A second vote for No7, great for swimming 3x week straight from work so no time to remove make up beforehand, or reapply it after. The worse that happens it a couple of tiny "spider legs" (!) on my cheek. Def no smudging.

I use boots 17waterproof stuff. Doesn't come off in shower but a quick wipe with a baby wipe gets rid of the lot!

Great, thanks everyone! I'm too vain to be totally make-up free on the beach!

Blinc mascara!!! Waterproof, removes by warm water and gentle pulling. Cannot smudge.

I've just been looking at the No 7 website, it says the Stay Perfect mascara is smudge-proof, but not water proof. Am I looking at the wrong product, or is there a water proof mascara in the Stay Perfect range?

Ive tried lods of brands as i will only wear waterproof. I swear by any of the Lancomes for waterproof staying power. Definicils for a natural look or doll eyes for a bigger look. You will need proper remover though. This week I've just started using Benefit 'theyre real' which the assistant assured me is water resistant and would withstand a sauna/steam room....yet to try it out in those environments but not sure if I've wasted my money.

The eyeko brand... Only comes off with warm water!! True black too x
