Vitamin supplements for healthy hair?

Can anyone recommend a supplement specifically for hair? There seem to be hundreds out there. Has anyone found one that makes a difference? And do they all contain iron? Thanks

They usually contain a combination of B vitamins and silica/zinc/other vitamins that are meant to be good for the hair. Personally I haven't had success with any. Biotin is also meant to be very good but can have some acne side effects if you're prone to that.

Naice: thanks. That's my worry, they're not cheap and I don't want to waste my money.
Be interested to hear of any success stories though...

Kelp is good for hair.

Yes, I've used Biotin and haven't had any problems but have heard some people get outbreaks. I've recently been using Kelp and could swear it's grown loads but that could be coincidence of course Smile

Biotin has lots of reviews on Amazon. Look at the highest strength product.

Thanks all, will look at both. (Weirdly I imagined Kelp as some sort of seaweed but we're talking about vitamins right :)
