I have just bought a lovely (but slightly clingy) dress and it really needs a petticoat/slip thingy underneath it...just to stop the clings and glide stuff over the bumps. Full body not just waist one.

Preferably do not want anything suck it in/controlly - just...kind of silky iykwim.

I have not even thought of, let alone worn a petticoat since I wer'a-lass....please - anyone with experience help - any recommendations would be brilliant.

I've got 2 skintones ones in different lengths a coup,e of years ago in M and S for just the same reason. They have 2 different necklines so can be worn with v neck dress or turn it round and wear it with a round neck dress. Thin shoulder straps so not seen under a sleeveless dress.
They are some kind of microfiber and does the trick, without cling.

Yes, M&S seem to be the best for underslips- have you checked out their website?
