It's a really nice green dress (from Boden! First thing I've ever bought from them, for me; was a complete bargain in the sale he he) Sorry, I am too brainless to do a picture link but it was from the summer catalogue, it's A-line, V neck, sleevless and I love it, it's really flattering.

But help! what shoes/bag/jewellery would you put with this? and if the weather is colder there what do I put on me arms?????

any ideas from the style queens of mn?

I have a green dress and I wear it with gold strappy sandals and gold bag and it looks good.

yay, clever Malory, thanks - that's it.

Looking at that picture it looks incredibly un-weddingy but actually there's a satin ribbon trim at the neck and if you don't walk round holding a beach towel it looks a bit smarter

And even I know not to accessorise it with a beach towel!

What about a pashmina type wrap - light but would provide warmth if chilly. Plus brooch to pin it maybe.

Sunnysideup · 05/09/2006 22:44

oooh a pashmina, what a good idea!

Accessorise with a blue towel and a notepad - just like the model in the pic!

Although not posh - Asda do some lovely jewellery and really cheap. I buy my jewellery there for different occasions.

Sunnysideup · 05/09/2006 22:59

careful sparkler I am so clueless I am likely to follow ANY advice!

MrsBadger · 06/09/2006 09:16

oh, I love that dress!

Gold, yes, but I think all gold accesories might be a bit much.
I'd be more likely to go for stone/cream/tan ie the lightest colour from the print, though would consider green shoes if I thought I'd wear them again.
Wouldn't go mad with jewellery as I think the busy pattern doesn't need much more - simple pendant would do, but a feathery hair fascinator thing would def make it look more wedding and less Malory-going-shopping.
Don't bother with a brooch for the pashmina, just sling it round, else you end up looking like your grandma and/or the Scottish Widow.

[NB Malory is well posh]

ha! I knew it MrsB....she is posh

thanks for the advice, too; I'll have a chance to go accessory shopping tomorrow, (I don't happen to go shopping wearing boden dresses you know) and will bear this all in mind. Thanks!
