Can you help me find a kaftan/tunic thingy for covering up on the beach?

I've tried looking, but can't find one that 1) isn't see through or exposes cleavage /naval 2) doesn't look like a dress 3) ideally costs a lot less than £30

I used to have a fab lightweight cotton one, a bit like a shirt, but it no longer fits. Any ideas?

I've found some nice ones in TKMaxx.

Am currently loving a Pia Rossini one I got there. You can sometimes find them on ebay.

H&M - I braved the jumble sale vibe of my local branch today and picked up two fab kaftans. £9.99 each though there were others at £7.99. Huge range of colours, prints.
I picked up two very thin cotton ones, tie waist and hit mid thigh. Got a blue and white striped and a plain black. V impressed with them. Look much better than the multicoloured chiffon potato sack I paraded about in last year!

I hadn't even thought of TKMaxx, I'll be busy during lunchtime tomorrow!

Oooh, love the stripey one! Might get a bit hot in polyester unless it's very floaty.

I hadnt even realised it was polyester! I thought it just a very lightweight cotton! They are nice and airy but without adding extra bulk with bollowing fabric. Not too short for to-ing and fro-ing to the beach and back either.

Agree with Tethersend. Bhs (and that has just taken AGES to over-rule spell check so it didn't say Nhs!!!) do give good beach!

I bought the stripy h and m one yesterday and a flowery one in the same style, really pleased with them

Only got as far as H&M but ended up with 2 and a mad pair of trousers. Blue stripes here too, we had better check we aren't all going to the same beach!
