Handbags- cross body or shoulder

Which do you prefer? I used to use shoulder then moved on to cross body and now I fancy shoulder again as I think they look smarter.

I wear cross body bags during the day because i push a buggy most of the time and it's just easier to have my two hands free. I prefer the look of shoulder bags though and wear them on a rare night out

I agree, on the shoulder looks much smarter. I manage on the shoulder when pushing a trolley around the supermarket (daughter now 12 so buggies are a distant memory). Around a busy shopping area I prefer shoulder too, so I can easily keep my hand on that same side firmly on my bag just supposing there is someone unpleasant lurking who has an idea to nick it - it does happen!

I like both, cross body is just so handy. I wear a cross body casually but generally shoulder bag for work.
