Eyelash tinting - only worth it for fair lashes?

Is eyelash tinting only worth it if you have fair lashes? Mine are naturally moderately dark and wondering whether it will make a discernible difference.

Currently pregnant and planning a bit of a pre-baby beauty blitz on basis I probably won't know which way is up for first few days weeks, months post-baby but want to avoid looking like death on inevitable photos.

Do you think an eyelash tint will help?

I think so
I am albinoish fair naturally and live with dying but dark haired friends say it helps them to see the whole lash as sometimes they are lighter at the ends

It makes an absolutely ENORMOUS difference to me. I'm darkish brunette with pale skin (sort of Nigella Lawson colouring but her hair and eyebrows are quite a bit darker than mine).

When I'm in the UK I go to the benefit brow bar and get an eyelash tint and eyebrow tint and wax. I get my eyelashes tinted the darkest colour possible and my eyebrows tinted basically the same colour as they already are so that I don't have crazy scouse brow or anything like that.

I look like me but better and much more polished. Seriously, I really regret not doing it before I had both of my DC.

You can get blue-black, Black or Brown tints.
The effect will be more noticable on fair lashes but lashes, as mentioned above are often lighter at the ends so even if really dark lower down it should have some effect. It's only a few £ so worth one try at least.

Mine are mid dark but lighter at ends and go much lighter in the summer - the effect is brilliant.

My eyelashes and eyebrows are very dark (my hair is naturally a dark brown but a bit lighter). Dying them black (which they basically are anyway) seems to make a subtly noticeable difference although I was skeptical to begin with. It darkens down any lighter hairs and seems to make your eyebrows and lashes frame your eyes a bit more.

I got it done a few times when I was getting a facial but then realised how cheap, quick and easy it is to do yourself. The dye only needs to be left in less than 5 mins.
