Brown and yellow - please tell me this is not a thing?!

Twice in the last week I've seen someone wearing chocolate brown shorts with an egg-yolk yellow t-shirt. The combination is hideous whatever, but it was also the colours of my school uniform and thus even more nauseating to me.

Twas my uniform too - has taken 30 years for me to be able to wear either brown or yellow, and will be at least another 30 years before I wear both together!

It's very 70s........yellow is definitely in, it's everywhere but with brown!!!! god help us.

Yes, I've brought myself to wear chocolate brown now, but with blue or white or pink or something. But that particular shade of yellow still makes me ill, and together?!?!
