I've bought this dress for a family wedding. I love it and it fits like a glove. However, it is shockingly 'see through'! To the extent that when I appeared for the grand reveal my husband blurted out 'but, but I can see .....you!'
Shortly followed by 'can you wear a slip?'

I'm thinking seamless nude pants. Do any of you have any suggestions for the top half?! I'm a size 10 and a 32D. No wobbly bits thanks to a lot of excercise and 5:2 after DD2s birth.

Thank you so much for any reply!

if it's that see through I'd be wearing a full length nude slip

CMOTDibbler · 13/06/2014 10:26

It needs a slip - the M&S microfibre ones are great

Nocomet · 13/06/2014 10:39

It's gorgeous, but if it's not properly lined at that price it goes back!

Thanks so much. Looks like DH was correct!

I'll have a look at slips. Just worried about the sheer panel at the back. The lining is lovely quality - but I was wearing white undies which shone through I suppose!

This might work?

Ooh I love that! No help at all with regards to underwear though, I have never owned a slip.

MorelloKisses · 13/06/2014 17:30

I tried that on last week and it really is see through!

You need need need a slip in nude, but better make it a pale nude as there is a slit at the front and you don't want to be flashing your slip.

Good luck

MorelloKisses · 13/06/2014 17:31

I notice yuca t see the slit in the picies, so is the navy stripe slit to about 8inch off the hem or did I try a duff one?

Kundry · 13/06/2014 17:46

For that money, they should have lined it!

NotHoldenCaulfield · 13/06/2014 19:51

Hi Morello
Yes definite slit. Really might return as I tried a nude slip today and it ain't working!

DH took a photo of me wearing it and it's positively indecent.

What a shame. Silly reiss.

This seems to be a key piece for them this summer, in every store, short and maxi!
