Hi all,

New to mumsnet, need to pick your shopping brains for suggestions for gorgeous long cardy. Have seen loads of cheaper acrylic ones but want something a bit yummier for a treat.Any ideas?

TIA x

greatplains - some one linked to their site and have some nice ones.

Thanks HermyKne, would not have thought to look here. They have some great stuff, but I need thick, chunky and pref. calf length. Asking too much I know as have scoured all the usual suspects and cannot find a thing!

French Connection have a chunky one (under long sleeve & chic, page 2) not my style tbh. If you're looking for something really pricey look on here

Cheers Stiglet. FC one cool but wrong colour and cant do double breasted, but other than that perfect!! I ADORE Net a Porter and gaze lovingly at it from time to time but can imagine the ensuing argument with DH about the rationale behind 300 quid cardy. Why dont men get that whole 'investment piece' principle???!!

I had a look at the new M&S magazine a week or so ago, and they had some lovely looking long chunky cardies! I asked when they would be in the shop and was told, not for a few weeks. So if you can wait a bit, might be worth a look.

Boden long cardi

Monsoon do this kind of thing but they verge towards boucle more than necessary.

I got one a few years ago (when money was no object) from DKNY, its still going strong. They tend do a couple most seasons.

just whizzed past this looking for something else but thought 'wasn't somene on MN looking for a cardi?'. Colour's a bit extreme though.
