Not very glamorous is it? There was I looking at jo Malone candles. So, can anyone help? She said it's being advertised at the moment. I will need to add something nice to it lime a go it cream. Thanks!

How about a micro pedi? Very good at removing hard skin from feet, gentle and easy to use. I think there's a scholl version too.

this thing is the business
then get her a Diptyque candle

bookcave · 11/06/2014 12:13

Have just seen that the micro-pedi is Deal of the Day on Amazon today. It is being advertised a lot on TV at the moment so might be what she means although it would be odd to describe it as a knife.

BarbaraPalmer · 11/06/2014 12:16

yy to the one ronald recommends
i have an identical one from Lloyds

it does take practice to learn how not to slice into your feet, but after a few goes you're away - it's loads better than the scrubby type ones.

Lighthousekeeping · 11/06/2014 13:15

I think describing it as a knife was her sense of humour.

Micro pedi is brilliant
Beats the Soap and Glory footfile hands down.
No contest!!!Grin

Germgirl · 12/06/2014 17:11

Definitely go for the Micro-Pedi. It's brilliant. I had hooves & now they look like proper, human, feet.

eurochick · 12/06/2014 17:12

I've just got the Scholl thing as a pediegg is too much work in late pregnancy. It's great. I've only had it since the weekend and my feet are loads smoother already.

Lighthousekeeping · 21/06/2014 21:29

The micro pedi is on offer. I'll give it ago. I wonder if there's a nice foot cream to go with it?

The BodyShop peppermint foot scub is lovely if you're after stuff like that as well.

BigArea · 21/06/2014 21:44

How about that Footner stuff - saw a thread recently, apparently you slap it on, leave it to work for a bit and wash off. Then all the yucky skin peels off over the next few days satisfying

dexter73 · 21/06/2014 22:35

I would get her an appointment with a chiropodist for her birthday then they can cut off all the dead skin for her. Get her a cream to go with it.

KellyHopter · 21/06/2014 22:38

Ooh that trotter shaver looks great.

bonzo77 · 21/06/2014 22:47

Yes! That shaver thing is brilliant. AKA a corn plane. That + a micro pedi and some flexitol = a great night in.

Lighthousekeeping · 01/07/2014 15:06

She said it was the best present she'd ever had. So pleased. Thanks everyone Grin

I love a good, old fashioned corn and callous knife. I have bought one as a gift before!
