I have 92 of Boots Advantage card points

and I don't know what to spend them on. Any ideas please?

I am 38, and, to be honest, there is nothing that I need. I use Estee Lauder products and make up and I have plenty of them in reserve. I have body lotions, bubble bath and scrubs and whatnot coming out of my ears as I receive them as gifts and I tend to forget to use them. I have a posh Boots near where I work and a decent size one near home. The points can also be spent online.

I would rather not buy anything for the DC (6yo and 2yo) as they have plenty already.

I have been saving my points for ages, but I don't know what for!

I know that I could buy essentials like nappies and wipes and stuff, but after saving the points for so long, I would rather not iyswim.

How many points do you have? There's a weird square in the title of your thread.

Any electricals you'd want? Hairdryer, curlers, epilator etc? I'd just save them for Christmas presents Grin

TheresLotsOfFarmyardAnimals · 11/06/2014 09:28

I'd get some wide plate straighteners for curling my hair. The hairdresser did it last time and they were lovely big waves so are now on my want list.

You could try some different make up. Their swimwear is often nice too.

I would also get DS some clothes.

dottyaboutstripes · 11/06/2014 09:29

Perfume?
I tend to use mine at Christmas (I often manage to save £100 of points)

HiawathaDidntBotherTooMuch · 11/06/2014 09:33

I have 92 pounds. I don't know why my pound signs aren't showing properly!

Agree either perfume or something big like a posh electrical tool.

Or spend on Xmas presents and with what you've saved already plus what you will have saved by Xmas and use the money you save on Xmas to treat yourself to a fab coat in the sales?

SuperFlyHigh · 11/06/2014 09:49

what about now sunscreen? for the face and/or body? it only has a limited shelf life.

you could also try something you liked - gelly nail polish by Barry M is nice.

save the rest.

HolgerDanske · 11/06/2014 11:03

Keep saving it, it doesn't expire does it?

At some point you will know what you want and you can spend it then Smile

HolgerDanske · 11/06/2014 11:04

But yes if it were me and I didn't want anything else, I'd get a couple of perfumes.

demisemiquaver · 11/06/2014 11:07

what about necessities,like toothpaste?

Needadvice5 · 11/06/2014 11:08

keep saving them! no point in using them for the sake of it!

I think I'll keep saving them. There is nothing that I want or need enough to deign my points worthy of being spent on them Smile

I have quite a lot of points too and feel like I should spend them in case I lost my card! I think i'm going to get a Chanel lipstick and a mooncup!

Chocotrekkie · 11/06/2014 11:59

If you register the card online to your address even if you lose it you can phone and explain to them and get the points put on a new card.

If the card gets stolen from your bag and someone else uses them like the thieving cow at work they did refunded them back to me.

caker · 11/06/2014 12:17

Oh thank you for the tip, I didn't know that.

bberry · 11/06/2014 12:38

I spent my recent points on one of the new scholl velvet smooth machines.... Fabulous! My husband is even using it on his hard skinned feet!

HelpMeGetOutOfHere · 11/06/2014 13:25

wow, I thought I had loads and as going to splash out on a benefit powder and lipstick for £40 and now no points.

Id save them until you need an electrical item or to stock up on products you use all the time, or a new perfume something just for you.

I just spent mine on a pair of sunglasses and a dry skin remover machine for my hooves feet.
