What US size is a UK size 12?

a UK 12 is a US 14 or 16, but I think the Isabella Oliver site has a size guide with measurements....?

I thought the americans were 2 sizes below ours - hence the size 0 celebs. So UK12 = US 8.

at Gap, a US 12 is a UK 16
