products to define wavy hair?

now my hair is longer again, it's more wavy than ever. i'd like to leave it to dry naturally, and it can look nice while its still damp, but once its dry, the waves turn to frizz.

what can i use on it to keep the waves more defined?

(ps, its definitely wavy as opposed to curly, i don't think its curly enough to go full on 'curly girl' method)

Boots Curl cream for about 2 a pot is a miracle. My hair is similar to yours & since using this I have got proper soft corkscrew curls.

Sea salt spray works for me, with some kind of anti-frizz balm on first.

thanks, will look into both of those Smile

I've been using this on my DD's thick wavy hair. It seems to make it all smoother and sit nicely. DD is 9 so we don't blow dry - just leave it to dry naturally.

Just to add I nay try the boots product mentioned as it is cheaper! The Phil Smith stuff is from Sainsburys.

With the curl cream, do you just towel dry, comb it and apply a little on the ends then leave to dry naturally? I have same issue - shoulder length wavy hair which I usually blowdry straight but I'm growing it and I think now it's long enough to look nice with some waves.

The pink Boots curl creme is the best stuff I've ever found for my hair

Basically take a smallish amount and before you apply it, emulsify it between your palms until it turns white. I find it best to apply when my hair is still quite wet or it goes frizzy, so I never vigorously towel dry. Distribute it through the lengths of your hair, comb through if you want and then scrunch hair a few times to encourage your curl

Leave hair to dry, it will be crunchy but just scrunch out the crunch and should leave lovely frizz free waves or curls
