Forgive me being really thick, but Levis are cheaper in the US, right?

DP has conference in the US in October. Does it make sense for me to tell him to get me the jeans I want while he's there?

(Obviously I'll tell him the fit, size, type, all that.)

also you risk falling foul of the 'but darling I thought you were a size 2' attempt at flattery trick - US sizing especially confusing for men who barely understand sizing in their home country

and it's a long way to go back for a return

He absolutely refuses even to contemplate it unless I give him the entire measurement shebang, and tell him the exact type, and so on. He is not completely masochistic.

I once came back with 8 pairs of all sizes and colours having taken an order at work They are sized exactly the same in the US as here, aren't they? Waist, leg and all that? Nah, make him suffer....
