Navy blue dress, lime cardi

Am I insane?
I think they look good together but I have no clue how to continue styling the outfit and don't want the cardi to look random. I don't want to buy lime shoes so any suggestions how to style this?

I hope not as I wear it a lot, also with navy 7/8 trousers. I wear navy heels or pumps.
I also quite like it with black dresses and trousers to brighten things up.

I would've said perfect combo, anything else too dull. Maybe daffodil yellow as an alternative?
Cream is too meh, white too nautical.
