My gut feeling is no... although if it were milk choc rather than plain it might look Ok. there'd have to be a clear difference in colour.

yes, I am wearing a brown top with turquoise vest underneath and black trousers today.
Needs colour to lift it I reckon.

I think it's ok, as long as it's a lighter brown. Although all black looks fine, all brown just looks sort of wrong. But I'm not sure why....

No - no brown and black and no to navy and black.

Brown is nice with beige or burnt orange or an autumny green.
