country wedding (but fairly casual dress code).

I was thinking of something like this:

What colour bag? I have got a got a lovely clutch but it's black.

I'm not sure the shoes are the right colour..

No to those shoes - those plus dress = v Kate Middleton.

Bright pink? Yellow?

BeyondTheSea · 08/06/2014 20:59

I did wonder that and really don't want to go for that look...

Sounds like I need new shoes and a bag.

Is the dress ok?

It looks nice - am not a Boden fan but am fond of polka dots and I like those little bits on the waist.

I think the dress is lovely. Have you got good legs? If no, go for nude shoes, but perhaps something a bit less dainty...a wedge heel or heeled sandal. If yes, then you could do colourful shoes...bright pink or green or yellow would be fab with navy.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 08/06/2014 21:12

Pink Not sure re bag, though.

BeyondTheSea · 08/06/2014 21:15

Yes legs are good (thankfully).

I quite like these:

Considering the polka dots are white, I'd go with white shoes similar to the nude ones and a white clutch.

BeyondTheSea · 08/06/2014 21:17

Lovely shoes - but not keen on the pink. Sorry. I don't think would suit my skin tone.
I wear a lot of black/navy/cream normally.

TheDietStartsTomorrow · 08/06/2014 21:17

White shoes.

BeyondTheSea · 08/06/2014 21:19

White really??

tethersend · 08/06/2014 21:19

Red shoes look great with navy and white polka dots.

BeyondTheSea · 08/06/2014 21:20

Ah red - yes that could work!

tethersend · 08/06/2014 21:20

Something like this

tethersend · 08/06/2014 21:22

Or these clarks ones have a 40s feel which would work...

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 08/06/2014 21:23

Not at all what you're after but I think I am in love. A shame that Hobbs shoes are so huge that even size 3 too big for me. :(

tethersend · 08/06/2014 21:31

I was LUSTING after those earlier today, Remus- spooky Grin

Am going to a wedding at the end of the month, so was trying to plan an outfit around them from what I've got in the wardrobe... I failed.

Openup41 · 08/06/2014 21:33

Red shoes would carry off the navy.

tethersend · 08/06/2014 21:34

I also want these for the winter

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 08/06/2014 21:34

They are gorgeous, Tethers. Please buy them, so that my silly little feet can live through you.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 08/06/2014 21:36

I like those, but not sure re heel. I like these too Am a sucker for a wooden heel.

Hijack over - sorry OP!

BeyondTheSea · 08/06/2014 21:37

I like the Reiss and carvela shoes.

Bag??

OP posts:
BeyondTheSea · 08/06/2014 21:38

No problem, I like the last 2 pairs linked.
Is tan a complete no for shoes?
