.............on your nails and your toes??

I need nail polish inspiration.

In Summer I always end up with a coral or red on my toes and either cherry red or bright pink on my nails. My nails are short-ish and square-ish.

I don't like taupe or anything vaguely subtle . Also not keen on blues and greens or anything glittery - eurgh.

What's your Summer nail polish of choice??

Beige on my toes just about to try a mint green colour on my hands

I say beige its more like a dark nude iyswim

Nothing on my nails, I rarely bother as I chip or smudge them instantly. Sort of tangerine-y colour on my toes (very badly applied as I'm 33 weeks pregnant and reaching them is tricky!)

Hmm yeah I'm quite drawn to the mint and pastel green shades. Not sure if you have to be tanned to carry them off. I am not.

33 weeks here too and can just about still reach - want to get them painted nicely before it becomes mission impossible

Pale pink on my toes, and I just took a coral off my fingers.

Bright orange toes.
Nude fingers .

Oh, and getting a pedicure just before you give birth is a good idea! You spend a surprising amount of birth looking at your feet, and having lovely toes is one thing to appreciate (my red toes also looked GREAT with the DVT stockings I was given afterwards).

Mint green Shellac on fingers....4th nail is sage green.

Dark purple on toes.

Fingers nothing, as I'm a nurse. Toes a sort of periwinkle blue but usually a pinky purple colour

Turqoise on my toes. Lilac on my fingers. xxx

A Maybelline pink on fingernails and Colour Club Revvvolution on toes. I found it last year and wore it almost continuously til recently. It's a holographic slate-grey kind of shade - not particularly summery but I fell in love with it!

So orange is definitely popular this Summer!

I quite like the look of this Rimmel shade - Coralicious. Might give that a whirl.

I am wearing this Rimmel pink right now and it's gorgeous.

Cherry-red sparkly quick-dry L'Oreal polish, with Seche Vite top coat, so they're still really shiny after more than a week

Toes

I've only recently discovered top coat Witch. I can't believe how much better it makes your manicure look and how much longer it makes it last .

I do love me a cherry red. Goes with bloody everything.

Neon light peach/orange on my toes. Beach bag by models own.
Bold almost a salmon pink on my fingers. Grapefruit by barry m.
Love both of them, they're both in my regular rotation.

Eyelinerqueen i'm very pale and wear mint and forest greens a lot on my nails and it suits me.

Ooh, I definitely recommend Coralicious, tis lovely.

And I agree that a pre-birth pedi is a must!

Rimmel Double Decker red on toes and Rimmel Mashmallow Heaven which is a lavender colour on fingernails

Neon pink on toes. It's a maybelline bleached neons one. Quite coral-y but cooler

Just repainted my finger nails (Tourqoise) same as my toes. I usually change the colour everyday. xxx

Barry M Gelly in Kiwi on fingers, lovely vibrant green.

Models own polish for tans in Shades ( bright neon pink) on toes.

Both shades have just been released for summer, got them on superdrug 3 for 2.
