Charcoal for your face? Any experience of it?

Hi

So my face has a few spots (around the jaw) I have black heads on my nose and very dry skin.

I'm 33 and look it. I don't know what's wrong with my skin lately but I think it's hormonal.

I have tried Rosehip oil but it did not have the impact I thought. So I came across Biore charcoal in boots (face wash) and I was wondering if anyone here has used it/something similar perhaps and can recommend it? Did it improve your skin? If yes in what way?

Replies mucho appreciated. TIA

Both my children were prescribed a sulfur based facial wash for their acne. It did seem to help but the odour was offensive to them and lingered even after rinsing.

Watching this because suddenly at 33 I have developed acne :-(

I bought that for my 14 yo DS after a while spying watching what other young men were using. Grin

He's a hormonal teen though so his skin is different (and it would help ALOT if the little bu**er actually used it more) Hmm

When I say watching, I mean in the skincare aisle at Boots over a period of time.
I don't go round Young Mens' Bathrooms Blush

I use an origins charcoal based face mask, I'm quite greasy and it seems to dry and smooth my skin for a few days after (still have blackheads though Blush)
