Bikinis for teenagers?

Hickorydickory12 · 08/06/2014 15:20

Where's the best place to get bikinis for teenagers? My dd is 15 very slim with a small bust (she's desperate to develop more!)
Any links to flattering bikinis bikinis for teenagers. She could get away with wearing anything, but wants more grown up looking ones.

Asos have lots of nice ones, can she wear an adult size 6? Or still in teen sizes?

Perspective21 · 08/06/2014 15:54

My DDs have both found two bikinis each that they liked in New Look. Check them out online. They are a good fit for teens not quite in women's sizes...

JugglingChaotically · 08/06/2014 15:55

Johnnie B last year. Haven't looked this year yet.

My niece buys Primarni.

My dds are eyeing up the Top Shop ones, the price puts me off Grin

My dd is only 13 and quite awkward in her developing body. She is also very tall and at least a size 8. She wants a "big" bikini, iykwim. Something that covers her up nicely.

Ohwhatfuckeryisthis · 08/06/2014 15:59

Dd has a range Hmm of ones from; primark, top shop, tk maxx and urban outfitters(in the sale, not paying their stupid prices). Currently trying to convince me she needs more.

Perspective21 · 08/06/2014 15:59

Not linking to them all but just googled New Look teen bikinis and 30 came up, have a browse...

Perspective21 · 08/06/2014 16:00

Mintyy, a couple of NL ones are deeper, providing more coverage.

Sorry kindle has gone quite mad.

Teenage girls can generally wear any bikini they want to and look wonderful in my experience! River Island have done quite young, "trendy" styles.

sinningsaint · 08/06/2014 16:47

Has she considered one with high wasted bottoms?? They are 'back in' this year so all over the shops. My very fashion conscious 16 y/o DD tends to buy hers from supermarkets if that's any help Grin. She has also had ones from asos, topshop, urban outfitters, primark and next though!

MrsMeow · 08/06/2014 18:32

DD has just bought a fab 50's style one from Primark, slightly padded top which can be worn strapless or as a halter neck and high waisted bottoms. It's white with a sunflower print and cost the grand sum of £4...and it's not too revealing, the cut is v flattering.

HelpMeGetOutOfHere · 08/06/2014 19:17

I'm told (dd is 8 and not interested in bikinis yet) that primark, river island and new look are the place to go.

WitchWay · 08/06/2014 19:54

I'm slim with a small bust & found a fabulous bikini last year in La Senza - slightly padded top with detachable straps which stays up without squashing me flat flatter like some bandeau styles can. Bright stripy pattern. The briefs have high-cut legs but are not too skimpy IYSWIM
