Or do you use an alternative or leave your face bare?

Yes. On holiday maybe not.

mysteryfairy · 07/06/2014 22:31

Usually use either foundation or tinted moisturiser with a decent SPF. On hols if somewhere really hot just wear sun cream.

snowgirl1 · 07/06/2014 22:33

Yes, in the UK. On holiday, it depends what sort of holiday.

ShebaQueen · 07/06/2014 22:35

Yes, I use mineral foundation.

blueshoes · 07/06/2014 22:37

Yes, why wouldn't I? I grew up in a hot humid climate. Women wear make up in hot climes too.

BuzzardBird · 07/06/2014 22:37

A tinted moisturiser or bb cream with an spf is perfect for warmer weather.

citygirl1961 · 07/06/2014 23:19

I mean do you find foundation too much in hot weather and wear a tinted moisturiser or BB cream instead.

Yes, Revlon colour stay.

botanicbaby · 09/06/2014 00:39

I know what you meant OP and yes I do still wear it in hot weather but I go easy on it (not that I usually wear a lot) and keep it simple.

Also, I avoid powder blush or bronzers too but if I want a bit of colour I dab on some liquid blush.

Only1scoop · 09/06/2014 00:43

I use a tinted moisturiser with SPF.

MyrtleDove · 09/06/2014 02:06

I wore a Korean BB cream with spf 30 yesterday for a wedding in sunny weather and it didn't budge at all, I was impressed. It was Holika Holika Petit BB Cream in Essential (yellow tube).

SecretWitch · 09/06/2014 02:15

I just use a bit of BB cream during hot weather. We are often subject to high humidity, foundation just feels so heavy and greasy in that type of weather.

butterfliesinmytummy · 09/06/2014 03:31

I have an amazing tinted primer with SPF 35 that I apply every morning without fail. My facialist recommended it as I couldn't find an SPF that wasn't greasy or white tinged. It makes my skin look pretty good, then I'll apply some mineral powder, mascara, lipstick over the top if I'm heading out to meet people.

It all lasts pretty well but I find heat much easier to bear here than summer in the uk as our buildings were built to keep cool air (rather than heat) in and everything is seriously air conned!

I live in Texas and it was 38C today.....

I live in Singapore and wear foundation every work day.

Normally with a facial SPF underneath. I don't use that much foundation - just 3 dots on forehead and each cheek, blended with a sponge.
