Could anyone recommend a classic pinky nude nail polish ? Ideally opaque nude ,don't mind having to apply two or three coats to get the perfect shade

My favourite nudes are Leighton Denny-Supermodel, Chanel-Delight, Dior-Griege, OPI-You don't know Jacques . Or if you mean a pale pink perhaps Essie-Sugar Daddy. Also, can't not mention Dior Nail Glow, nothing makes your nails look better more quickly than this.

I love Nails Inc Porchester Square, it's minky and neutral and flatters any skin tone x

MegMogandOwlToo · 06/06/2014 21:45

The only nude that doesn't look too dark on me is Boots Seventeen "forever" - its a pinky nude rather than brown.

whereisshe · 06/06/2014 21:46

Rescue Beauty Lounge Grunge. It's lovely!

SilkandSteel · 06/06/2014 21:47

I like Maybelline Rose Poudre for a neutral shade

SconeRhymesWithGone · 06/06/2014 21:52

OPI Samoan Sand

angeltulips · 06/06/2014 21:53

Jessica Blush

Essie Sugar Daddy for me, it's a translucent pale pink. I have tried so many taupe and beige toned ones, I find the darker taupes easier to get right than the ones that are close to my skin tone. Essie have a good range but I find the lighting in their displays makes them look quite different to how they look in use.

Botanicbaby · 06/06/2014 23:05

another vote for Essie nudes.

FoxyHarlow123 · 07/06/2014 06:41

TroyMcClure · 07/06/2014 07:16

You don't know jaques is putty colour. Not pink

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 07/06/2014 07:34

Another happy user of Maybelline Rose Poudre

smilerc · 07/06/2014 08:01

I love maybelline rose poudre too. It lasts a good few days too which is very good for me. Essie do lovely colours but if I'm lucky they will last 24 hours at the most!

Leviticus · 07/06/2014 08:05

Needasilverlining · 07/06/2014 09:39

No idea what happened there! Was trying to add a vote for Maybelline (the gel one), not an air of mystery...

Lndnmummy · 07/06/2014 10:17

I have been hunting for ages so hope i can help;)

Essie eternal optimist a neutral rather than nude but looks polished and sophisticated

Sally Hansen cafe au lait - gorgeous colour but takes 3 coats to get opaque

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 07/06/2014 10:25

Ha ha - silverlining - I bet it was an ipad or iPhone. Mine get me every time.

tak1ngchances · 07/06/2014 10:36

Essie Mademoiselle and Ballet Slippers.

BatshitCrazyWoman · 07/06/2014 13:46

I like Leighton Denny's Starkers, which is a bit sheer, but two coats will give a less sheer finish - on me it's a perfect 'no colour' colour that looks groomed. I also like L'Oreal's Countess Beige (or Beige Countess, not sure) which is similar to Leighton Denny's Supermodel.

phoneyjoanie · 07/06/2014 20:20

There's such a difference in what everyone considers nude!
Sally Hansen cafe au lait looks like I have mannequin hands so I find that pinks suit me better.
Dior Nail Glow....expensive but I like it...however, try the Asda George version if you like tranluscent :)

Mavala Sweet is perfect for me or Models Own nude beige always gets comments (good ones).

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 07/06/2014 20:36

I suppose it depends on the colour / tone of your skin and and nails. A lot of those mentioned here are definitely not nude on me as I have very light skin. I find it hard to get a good beige, I had one from Next once which was exactly the right colour for my skin but it was a rubbish consistency, all smeary. I always end up going back to Sugar Daddy.
