Perfumes that last well when you wear them

I'm looking for recommendations for some that last longer than a couple of hours. I bought one recently on holiday - Essence de Patchouli by Alyssa Ashley. Be warned - the smell is definitely not for everyone (although weirdly it doesn't smell of patchoui at all) and will be way too powdery and old-ladyish for many. But it lasts really well - I spray it in the morning and can still smell it on my wrist by the evening.

Any other suggestions?

Aqua di Parma

Several kinds all long lasting. I love them.

Coco Chanel lasts all day for me.

Samsara by Geurlain; Hypnose and Tresor by Lancome; Issey Miyake by Issey Miyake and The One by Dolce and Gabbana.

Aqua di Parma is luscious - have had a right good sniff in John Lewis many times. Quite but may be worth investing in. Can you recommend a fresh citrusy one for day time? Thanks Minnie

I often think my perfume doesn't last it people comment on it throughout the day so I just assume it's my nose getting used to it. I also find spraying I clothes much more effective than spraying on me direct.

I wear Boss Femme. Oh, and EDP has way more staying power than EDT.

Vol de Nuit by Guerlain. If you can get hold of it and like it!

Forgot to add, Chloe the (I adore that perfume - can't believe I forgot to mention it!)

I wear Vol de Nuit! It's not citrussy though - more powdery and chrysanthemumy

I love Robert Piguet perfumes - they last really well and are quite vintagy if you like that sort of thing. I presume you are buying EDP not EDT?

Obsession by Calvin Klein is long lasting

Big orientals are usually long-lasting - Shalimar, Cinnabar, Opium, Chanel Coco etc. Obsession by Calvin Klein is an oriental that's not quite as powerful as the vintage ones but still pretty good.

Not citrussy - generally citrus scents don't last as long because the scent compounds are water-soluble not oil-soluble. Oil-soluble ones last longer, eg vanilla/amber/spices.

Coco Chanel and Chanel No 5 are long lasting on me.

I used to like jo Malone but then had an evil boss who wore it all the time - have gone off it

Alien for me, love the smell and it lasts all day!

Stella, in the dark box, smells gorgeous and lasts forever... My clothes smells of it even after washing.

Baby, is it Stella L.I.L.Y.? I've been meaning to get that because I sniffed it in a shop once and loved it, faint smell of violets

Aqua de Parma's Magnolia Nobile is a citrus and floral that is gorgeous and very long lasting.
As is Ellie Saab eau de parfum - honeyed orange blossom ( there also a parfum intense which is even more powerful.

Again, not citrusy though

Its not LILY, its the original Stella, smells of roses

Lancôme la vie est belle.

Paloma Picasso. Another one that isn't citrussy though.
