I'm 5'2 and love the look of the midi skirts that are around at the moment. I need to cover my knees because of horrible scarring from numerous ops but i also need to wear flat shoes and i'm wondering if i will look like a little dumpling Hmm

Any other shorties wear them? Any recommendations?

Ive just googled this very same question as Im the same. Coleen gets away with it doesnt she, she always looks amazing, she has curves and is quite short, she never tends to look dumpy. Apparently the key is to have the skirt / dress and just below knee level so you'll prob need to either buy petit or make adjustments so the skirt doesn fall half way down the calf, hiding most of the leg and giving a "dump effect".
Words spoken from a tue short person!

I have a few and I'm 5'3. I'm probably too short to wear them but I don't really care Grin

I got a couple of the pleated style ones from the ASOS petite range so they aren't too long.

I'm 4'11 with big tits and bum and any skirt below knee length makes me look extremely dumpy unless I wear enormously high wedges.

I'm 5'3 and I'm wearing one now - with flats Smile As rainbowshine1 says, it has to end just below the knee, not calf length.

Hassled · 06/06/2014 15:51

I've decided I can't - 5.3 and fairly slim, but midi skirts are not my friend.

I wear them alot but always with heals. Wedges if I cant do heals (and yes just below knee is good advice)

Thread hijack. Do you lot wear maxi dresses then? ( still to chicken to try here)

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 07/06/2014 11:47

I'm also 5'2 and wear both midis and maxis. I'm fairly slim, which probably helps, and heels do make a difference.
