'hero' costume ideas. work thing. 2 weeks to find or preferably make?

I'd go for an X Men character - you can go all red wig and vampy like Jean or peroxide and leather suited like Storm.

We went to one of these, people went as ....Elizabeth Bennett, Ginger spice, Jessica Ennis, Lara croft, a naughty nurse and Hero ( Greek goddess/priestess) the last one should be easy to cobble together with an old sheet, some laurel leaves and some sticky back plastic

I.went as Elastigirl once. Red leggings with black short over. Long sleeved black tshirt with red short sleeved tshirt over.

made my own logo from scraps of material and wonderwebbed it on. Bobbed my hair (had been planning on doing it anyways) and got a black mask.
