Does the perfect boyfriend fit jean exist?

I'm on the look out for some boyfriend jeans n I'm not having much joy finding the perfect ones.

I've tried Gap and Next and don't like the ones they stock.

Has anyone found their perfect ones, if so where are they from?

Dorothy Perkins slim boyfriends work for me as they don't completely drown me. But I'm afraid I don't think they have them online any more.

I think skinny bfs are the most flattering.

That said my favourite bfs are my Levi 501s from when I was 17.

I've just got some Tesco ones. A little big in the waist but otherwise rather pleased with them.

I've got J brand Aidens which are fab, also got J brand Caleb which are great too.

My favourite are Frame le garcon but they're not cheap.

I just get straights and roll them up a bit.

I like Topshop slim boyfriends which come up small and short and also Asos Brady ones, which are baggier and come up long - but they do them in different lengths. I think the key is making sure they are the right length - about a hand's breadth above the ankle bone works for me and don't drown you, particularly if you are less than 5'10 and more than a size 6!

Thank you ladies
I have been shopping today, along the high street, can't see any I like

Maybe I'm too fussy. I'd like a true blue without too many rips. All the ones I saw were a little faded with far too many rips for someone of my age.

Ah, that's why the DP ones are good - no rips! I can't be doing with 'em! I think I saw that M&S have some in their Indigo range?

Also, Uniqlo:

and River Island:

I know what you mean MissMiss. Ridiculous rips. The Tesco ones are rip-free too.

CointreauVersial · 03/06/2014 19:09

I conducted exhaustive research on this very subject a few weeks ago, but I ended up with the Gap Sey Boyfriends, which you've ruled out.

I also hate the rips!

MissMiss1 · 03/06/2014 20:05

Thank you ladies, I shall try and get to my nearest Tesco store to have a look.

I just find it so disheartening, I think I've found the perfect ones, I try them on and 'blah!', look awful.

I'm quite taken by the pair on the me and em website but they're so expensive and I've no idea what they're like on.

THESE

Has anyone here tried them?

Pompbear · 03/06/2014 21:12

Sainsburys! dark or light. no rips. great fit. dirt cheap
