The illustrious URBAN DECAY NAKED PALETTE - worth it?

Okay, I need new eyeshadow. I've fallen in love, IN LOVE with the nude, browny, dusty look and it seems to make my blue eyes pop. Mr Google said that the 'Urban Decay Naked palette' is THE go-to nude eyeshadow palette. Is this true? Or is there better?

I love them! Naked 1 is for warm skintones, Naked 2 is for cool and Naked 3 is rose coloured apparently.

But I'm cool toned with pale skin, hazel eyes and dyed red brown hair and I have 1 and 3. I love them and they are the best imo followed by the Too Faced natural palette.

Get one I got mine from beautybay online but Debenhams also stock them.

It's expensive. Are you cool toned or warm?
I bought the MUA rip offs of the UD Naked 1 and 2 to see if I liked them or not. I found out that for my colouring (cool) 2 is better than 1. But they are actually too sparkly for my (admittedly crepey) eyes. I'm glad I tried the MUA ones before spending so much on the real UD ones.

ooh i just got this as a present and it's lovely, usually use nars but the colours seem just as good, strong pigments and look really nice on without being obvious. def try you get alot for the dosh.

I am cool toned but use number one as the second one is far to sparkly.

I have naked 3 and I think its great. Not life changing (its only eye shadow) but great none the less.

I was gifted both and love them. They have lasted AGES

I have all 3 (just bought naked 2) - they are fantastic, last ages, easy to apply and blend, stay on...I have a palette of bright UD shadows too as I've not found anything to rival the quality

I think I'm 'cool toned' but not sure. How do I find out ladies? I'm fair skinned with blonde hair and blue eyes.

How much do they cost? They look just gorgeous.

Cool toned is fair, pink skin.

Neutral is neither pink or yellow just neutral

Warm is the opposite of cool.

All very confusing as out makes more sense that warm tones are pinky to me

I'm cool toned then, but I don't want 'sparkly' natural makeup (isn't that an oxymoron anyway?)

Should I go for no1?

Obviously the MUA ones are nothing like the UD ones! Naked 1 is excellent for day. The only one I avoid is Half Baked, though it might be nice if I pick up a tan this summer.

Virgin, Naked and Buck make a great day look if you prefer matts.

If you prefer mattes, have you considered Smashbox Full Exposure. Half the shades are matte, and they're excellent.

It's fab! I treated myself to one recently, worth every penny. The quality of the pigment is top notch and blends like a dream. I also bought 2 Sleek palettes at the same time. The Naturals one isn't too dissimilar and is more matte.
I've seen Feel Unique has money off your first order, but I can't remember the code.

Ooops Zachary I bought the UD version before I saw your post.

I am pale but have a yellow (not jaundiced! just tan easily) base to my skin - am I warm or cool?

I have the first UD one and don't like it, I also bought the MUA and sleek one and the only one I use is the Sleek. I like all sleek palettes so maybe they suit me.
