Am size 16/18 but short so v.podgy. Have good legs, fat tummy.

Have got boyfriend jeans, nice jeans, hoodies, fitted v-necks, longer line tees, wear lots of tanks over long sleeve tees.

Oh and have fabulous coats

What else can I wear? What should I avoid?

(i am loosing weight btw but i still have to dress myself!!)

i would probably go for more tailored style trousers with heeled boots if i were you. tailored trousers are more flattering than boyfriend jeans on a larger frame i think. and if you're short the heels will add height(obviously!). how about thicker skirts(cord/denim) with boots too.

NO sweater dresses.

Gillian76 · 02/09/2006 21:54

boyfriend jeans?

Beauregard · 02/09/2006 21:55

Wrap dresses

zoeuk1 · 02/09/2006 21:55

big baggy jeans that look like you stole them from your boyfriend. you could probably call them skater jeans too.

zoeuk1 · 02/09/2006 21:56

that was a reply to gillian, not a suggestion that you wear them by the way!

fattiemumma · 02/09/2006 21:56

Bootcut jeans or trousers and heeled shoes/boots.
will make you look taller and therefore even you out a little and the botcut will mean you wont look so top heavy.

i knew those hours of Trinny and susannah were not wasted

zoeuk1 · 02/09/2006 21:57

some bias cut skirts will flatter you too in heavier fabric.

Smurfgirl · 02/09/2006 22:23

I don't do heels ever. I have feet problems...

Tailored trousers are not very me tbh am v.studenty. Am def buying a cord skirt soon tho.

have you tried wedge heels? they are alot sturdier and comfortable than standard heels.

Smurfgirl · 02/09/2006 22:41

No I can't wear any zoe1uk, I have a probalem with the way I walk so i can only wear flats. Prefer flats anyway tbh.
