Am size 18/29 with large tum n thighs (I sound lovely don't i)?Blush
Would really like to find some flattering trousers that come just above the ankle. Have very squashy mum tum and chunky thighs so not sure what to wear with them. Help me dress better than my usual lumpy bumpy self please???

I would definitely go for boot cut trousers. Always buy the size that fits though, and if you don't like the size on the label, then cut the dam thing out! I think you mean you're a shapely woman, and not a young girl waiting to hit puberty (like the women in the glossy magazines).

What shops do you usually shop at ? I'm lazy these days, and do a lot of shopping online.

Boden Chelsea turn ups are lovely. Thick and stretchy fabric and high waisted so very flattering on the tummy. A longer length top in a nice floaty fabric would work well. Mango have nice cotton and linen mix tops in their new Curve range.

I am a size 24. I bought a few pairs of crop jeans/trousers, all of which on me are ankle grazers opps. I have a 26in inside leg its a bugger.

I second the Boden Chelsea turn ups - very flattering.

I bought a silky type of trousers with elastic drawstring waist, tapered to an ankle turnup, very flattering as they are roomy at the top, sort of like a harem / pleated style but not really, so hide a big tum (like mine) and very suprisingly cheap! Matalan, had not been there in years and was sick of looking for a tapered trouser that actually fit and flattered. what was even better was they were labelled £20 but at the till were only £10 YAY result.

Some of the reviews of the Chelsea trousers are not good though. I would only risk it if postage and returns are free.
