Currently sitting in bed, waiting for DH to arrive home, wearing Sudocreme all over my face.

Apparently, some MN-ers swear by the stuff to sort out tired, shitty skin.

It stinks. I look like Caspar. I feel greasy. Shortly I will either be snoozing (and my pillow will be greasy) or enjoying some Friday night luuuurve with my DH (in which case, he will be greasy).

You fecking better not be pulling my leg! Grin

ew that would give me spots way too heavy, who says it's good for you?

libertychick · 30/05/2014 22:57

I think you can rule out the Friday night luuuurve with that stuff all over your face!!! No idea if it works or not....

SquallyShowers · 30/05/2014 22:57

Oh, great! Spots! I already have a huge, sore nicely lanced already klaxoners zit n my lip.

I didnt take names (I should have!). But I have read it a few times on these boards.

Run for the wipes quick Grin

SquallyShowers · 30/05/2014 22:58

Maybe DH will have to poke the fire without looking at the mantlepiece?

Um...I can report back...it was a moderate success!

Zit has dried out. Skin feels smooth and definitely looks a bit more plumped up and my mild rosacea on cheeks is less red. Also slight flakiness around my nose has gone.

I'm going to do it again tonight. Oor errr.

did you leave it on all night? Do you now have a face like a baby's bottom?! Might try this as my skin is crap at the mo

HappyMedium · 31/05/2014 12:54

I do this. It works for me. But DH will barely even look at me with it on.

EasterSundaySimmons · 31/05/2014 13:55

Sorry, it clogged up my skin terribly.

Horrible, harsh stuff on me.

EdithDickie · 31/05/2014 18:47

I like it to dry out spots, not sure I fancy it all over my face though.

peasandlove · 01/06/2014 00:26

Update please, on the sudocream not your husband Wink

Minshu · 01/06/2014 08:31

I put a layer on all night Friday, looked like a corpse. DP was away and I put a towel on my pillow, and zits were on their way out by Saturday morning. It was also good for a patch of sunburn on my neck a couple of weeks ago.

burnishedsilver · 01/06/2014 11:10

I think its fantastic stuff for spots or cuts but I've never heard of anyone smearing it everywhere.

WildBill · 01/06/2014 12:06

I'd just put it on the actual zit not all over as it is greasy and can clog

MyrtleDove · 01/06/2014 13:41

I did this last night - and yes, smeared it everywhere. Took it off this morning and left my skin feeling incredibly soft, redness lessened and flakiness smoothed. Really fantastic and hasn't clogged at all. I have a hormonal cystic spot on my chin that was lurking and it's drawn it out, so hopefully it will heal faster?

TulipOHare · 01/06/2014 14:44

I have done this for the last two nights, because of generally tired crap skin and a big painful weird spot on my cheek.

It's actually worked quite well. Spot calmed right down and is now quietly disappearing, and skin generally looks smooth and even. Hmm.
