M&S rant - I keep coming up against out of stock!

Just been on the M&S web-site to buy pants for DS1. 5 pack of slips, nothing fancy, age 9-10. 1 type in coloured (not white pants); out of stock! OUT OF STOCK! Why?! They should have gazillions of these in stock, they will never go out of fashion, they will always sell them.
At Easter, I went in to my local store to buy T-shirts in age 6 for DD; again, nothing on the rails, every age but age 6. Out of stock at Easter; when they have a whole season in front of them.
GrRRR! No wonder M&S clothing sales are in decline. And such a simple thing to get right, you would think.

Completely know what you mean! I went on the other day looking for a couple of things for ds (11m) and some maternity bits for me. All out of stock ! I started to wonder if it was a fault with their website.

Just been and bought my stuff from John Lewis. Much better

Last year I tried to get school shirts for 9 yo DS and (then) 6yo (but wearing age 8) DD.

Eventually gave up and went to Tesco!
