Can you get slimline school pinafores?

DD starts reception in September and, as we are away for a lot of the time over the summer, I need to start to sort out her uniform.
DD has always loved to wear dresses so I yhink will want to be in pinafores at school. However, she's a skinny thing & the ones I've seen so far seem really wide. Admittedly, the only ones I've seen are double breasted which is a wide looking style and I don't want them to be too tight as she'll need to be able to get in & out of them herself but I still think you could get two of her in there. She's quite tall too so likely to be in age 6 for length reasons.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

My girls are slender and we got the zip up ones from M&S - they fitted fine. You don't want them too fitted - roomy is more comfy for littlies.

M&S do a longer length in a few of their pinafores. Maybe you could try an age 4-5 longer length to get a smaller width?

Ha - x post with same dress! Good idea about getting longer length 4-5

My skinny 6yo DD wears those too!

That seems to be the one to go for then! Thank you.
