Thats about it really.
Im a regular swimmer, was thinking about a cap, not going to bother now!
Im currently using worthingtons (I think lol) suitable for highlighted hair, but the chlorine still seems to be drying it out.
What else can i do?

hi, i use paul mitchell shampoo 3 but it does strip your hair so use pm super conditioner which is really nice. the only prob is if you swim more than 4 times a week your colour won't last. look on www.lookfantastic.com for other swim shampoos, think keratase do one for coloured hair. bit more pricey than high street but i think they are well worth it! good luck

I would try and protect your hair from the chlorine in the first place because it does irreversibly damage the hair shaft especially if you swim regularly, and the damage will be worse on coloured hair. If you don't want to wear cap, which is the best thing to do, then I would get a leave in cream you apply to the hair before you swim Phillip Kingsley does a product called swimcap, and Boots do one in their
"Sun, Swim and Gym" hair range.

I use Aveda Colour Conserve shampoo and conditioner - seems quite gentle on the hair so probably suitable for swimming. Not cheap though - about £11.50 for the shampoo and £13.50 for the conditioner ...
