I love this suit, am I kidding myself?

House of Fraser

I've had my eye on it for a while but it's a bit pricey for me. Now it's in the sale but still quite pricey!

I am justifying it to myself on the basis of cost per wear and hoping that it will be decent quality - to reflect the price.

It's in "my" colours and I see it as a suit for work, with the jacket over a plain dress in any of the colours for work or even a wedding type occasion, the jacket with jeans and the skirt dressed down with a chunky jumper for winter weekends.

I'm not worried at all about it being fashionable (or not) but am hoping it might be a decent investment buy. What do you think?

Yes, it looks like a good buy!

Love it. Personally I'm not a 'suit' person (being a SAHM) but when I was still working at the office this is the sort of suit that would catch my eye. I particularly love the jacket - would look fab dressed down with jeans.

I'm not sure tbh. I think it looks wrong for the fabric. A shorter boxier jacket and a slimmer skirt would make it look more Chanel like. Unless you got the accessories bang on with fabulous shoes and statement jewellery it could look mumsy.

It is fab. My DD would buy that in an instant. She is 21 and possesses great taste!
