Sexy but tasteful lingerie that doesn't cost the earth

Am shopping in Birmingham on Saturday and would like to update some of my underwear. I would like a couple of sets of sexy but tasteful lingerie. Can you suggest where to look that isn't going to bankrupt me!

Surprisingly primark have some really nice underwear, that in my view being rather large on the top half is extremely well priced(can't remember exactly how much but at the most I think it was £15 for one set) and must be nice as my partner loves them. If you're trying to impress I'd add some stockings or hold ups, they sell those in there too, the lace tops feel really silky, hope that is of some help :)

nessie - what sizes do Primark do? I'm a 28/ 30dd so a lot of the high street just don't cater for me.

Have just checked and there is a Boux Avenue in the Bullring. I might give them a ring tomorrow and see if they have any fitting times available on Saturday as well.

I think that's what size my friend is, and I'm pretty sure she got some from there but don't quote me on it lol. I'm a 32f so I completely understand lol. Other than that she got some really pretty ones in another shop that I can never remember lol but I'll give her a text and get back to you :)

I was just about to get excited by Boux Avenue but they don't do my size. No one does 28 backs - I feel your pain, suddengeek.

What I don't get about bra sizes is that on paper I have cartoon norks (28F) but in real life they really aren't that impressive. So surely plenty of other people have sizes like this? If I'm not falling over then they must be pretty normal?

Boux Avenue in the Bull Ring has some nice bras but went I visited a few months ago, they were all the moulded, half cup style and they had nothing in anything smaller than a 32 band.

28 backs posters. I'm afraid I had to resort to buying online for 28 back sized bras or try on the equivalent sister size in a 30 back if I'm in somewhere like M&S.

Bravissimo stock 28 backs. My go to brands are Cleo by Panache and Mimi Holliday during the sales.

I've noticed that Topshop has some nice colourful designs at the moment but they're more "fun" sexy rather than "seductive" sexy iyswim.

sorrel Boux avenue do click and collect so I'm think of ordering squillions in my size and then trying on in store before returning the ones that don't fit 90%+

Birmingham is over an hour away though so won't be happening any time soon.

thurlow I feel your pain 28GG here and they really are not big at all nor am I skinny. I am a 12 yet need a small back, lord knows what you do if you are a size 6
