Cheap Vintage/second hand floor length dress

I need a cheap full length ball gown!

I'm taking part in a theatre production and one of the costumes required is a full length dress. Not black. No other requirements, save must be floor length.

I have got away for the first 32 few years of my life without owning a full length gown by wearing Pakistani lengha to events that would otherwise require full length gowns!

I'm tall (5'11") with a small waist, small boobs, and 'proper' hips. Things with nipped in waists suit me; body con/tight dresses do not!

I've looked at a number of vintage and second hand websites without success (e.g. Oxfam). This is mainly because I don't have the ahem assets for strapless and I'm not risking a 'Janet Jackson' on stage.

I would prepared for spend £30 - £40 on something I might wear once/use in other theatre stuff . If it was really nice and I might wear it for proper events the budget would stretch.

So I was wondering if anyone knew of any websites (or shops in London) that might be able to assist my search....

Thanks

Try the red sticker rails in TK Maxx - presumably it doesn't matter too much if there's a bit if broken beading or whatever if it's only for the stage? (Though not everything reduced to clear is faulty, just be really thorough in checking to ensure it really is a bargain)

There is this sort of thing online, but go to a store for more choice a better bargains

Thank you all very much all.

MsVenus - thanks for the Oxfam link - I'd been on the Oxfam site but it hadn't occurred to me to look at the bridesmaids' dresses.
