Plunge/strapless bra for enormous norks?

Can anyone help me find a bra that I can wear with a plunging halterneck evening dress? Ideally I am looking for something strapless/halterneck that has fairly widely separated cups but the problem is that I am 36GG and everything I can find at that size will show under the dress. I really love the dress, but it will have to go back if I can't find suitable underpinnings so if anyone has seen anything suitable I would be so grateful if you could post a link. The dress is this one but more plunging than it looks in the photo.

A corset? Expensive but glamorous option Smile

Have you looked at all the Bravissimo options? They have a decent range.

I had a halter neck bra from Panache that would work with that dress, maybe try their range?

The Freya Deco works I have it.

It's a bit like a boulder houlder tho.

SuperFlyHigh · 25/05/2014 20:59

With the plunge that may not work. Friend of mine did get a corset made.

I had a look at Bravissimo but the only plunging strapless they have only goes up to a G cup. I could risk a 38G I suppose.

Freya Deco looks good. I will order one and see how it goes.

I would suggest ordering the 36G as well as the 38 - I had that bra in the past and found it to be larger than other Freya bras in the cup, so if you're a 36GG you might possibly find that a 36G still fits.

If you're close to a bravissimo it's worth going in with the dress. They know their range inside out. I was once fitted into an underwired bikini top under a dress as the straps were slightly lower at the back to not show.

I agree Choco, I've taken in tops, dresses when I needed help. They're v good.

No unfortunately, it has got to be online as I am nowhere near a Bravissimo.

I've just bought a Panache basque like this from ebay for an evening event, I'm a G cup. I ordered my usual size, it's a little tight but it certainly is going nowhere. I find strapless bras even if they fit OK, tend to creep down during the evening and need constant hoiking.

You can buy a long strap to make a multiway bra into a halterneck bra, also don't underestimate putting a few strategic stitches in the front of the dress to keep it from gaping.

Wonderbra ultimate strapless is amazing. Sizing a bit off so try 36 and 38 g.I am a 30h/hh and wear the 32g very successfully
