Which shoes with wide leg trousers?

Have just bought some great wide leg trousers for work but don't know which style of shoe goes best. Any fashion gurus out there? PS I am on my feet all day at work, so I'm looking for comfort and style combined, if poss. Thanks!

I wear wide legged trousers with ballet pumps or flip flops (nice leather ones not beach ones)
