Good bra fitting in Lancashire around Preston/Bolton

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good bra fitting place in this area of Lancashire? I seem to have problems with the bit in the middle if you know what I mean. If it is not high enough then when I bend forward then the boobs both fall into the middle which is not a good look! I usually wear 38B or C but have no fullness or shape at all and am early 60's.

Thanks in advance ladies!

First of all are you sure you are a 38B/C? I'm not sure where to find the guide to measuring yourself correctly but i'm sure one of the lovely bra gurus will be along soon Smile. Once you are sure you are in the correct size Pure Mischief in Lytham is good, however expensive and not sure it is too far for you!

Do you have a measuring tape handy? Measure underneath your bust - holding the tape snug. Whatever inches you measure - that is your band size. If youre inbetween then the choice is yours as to what is comfier.

There are a few calculators online but most are inaccurate and rubbish - there is one I use on a US website which is accurate called A Sophisticated Pair - google it x

That is really odd, I just measured around the band and it was 33" but I often have to put a bra extender in a 38" as it can be too tight/bra fat bulge etc.

I really do need to be measured properly I think.

Yep you definitely need to be bra intervened! Once you have the right cup size you should be wearing a 34" no problem, I think this is the website you need.

sinningsaint · 22/05/2014 15:45

However if this is the case and you aren't a B/C as with many shops you will find Pure Mischief not great at helping anyone over D cup Angry.

Yes I would definitely recommend Bravissimo if you can get to Manchester, surely if you can get to Bolton it won' be hard for you to get bus/train into Manchester? Or Debenhams in Preston are ok just not much choice, found there is more in the Wigan branch.

Bravissimo have moved to King Street in Manchester. Definitely worth a trip Smile You won't look back (I've bought 6-7 new bras since I went about a month ago Blush)

FoxyHarlow123 · 22/05/2014 19:34

I bet you're more like a 32G or somewhere around that mark.

Second essentials in preston. She was lovely, and even told me that a bra didn't suit me rather than sell it because it fitted

sinningsaint · 22/05/2014 22:00

Ha just logged on to say I had remembered essentials, absolutely brilliant service every single time I have been in!

ilovekittycats · 23/05/2014 16:28

Thank you all so much for taking the time to help and I do think I shall be heading to Essentials in Preston. It sounds just what I need and not too far.

Thanks again.
