wide ankle and calf wellies - where to find?

I've been into every shop, including evans, but I can't find a pair to fit me. I can never get them up past my ankle. I've tried a size bigger but they are too big on the foot and still don't zip up. I bought 3 pairs of allegedly extra wide fit wellies online and had to send each of them back. I'm very frustrated now. Am I never going to have a nice pair of wellies? Does anyone have any suggestions of where to look? I don't want to spend too much either. Say max £40. TIA

I'd like to know the answer too! I had some Rydale wellyboots and they fitted me so well. Best wellies ever. Not marketed as wide wellys, but they were a perfect fit. I have very athletic calves

What size are you? I got a pair of these in a 4 (they go up to 5 but the 4 is generous on me). I have huge calves and ankles and these fit with room to spare - they're only mid-calf length but are fine for what I need them for.

Mountain Warehouse's 'Rain' style might be worth a look? I just have the plain black ones and they're great, really comfy and have lasted well (unlike so many 'fashion' wellies which I always find split/let in water after a few wears). These are actually too wide for me but I like them for just being able to quickly slip them on and off/tuck trousers (pjs!) in:
