Have you tried East? They have wrap front dresses or button down tunics:

Possibly silly question..... Does it have to be a dress? I wore separates to a wedding a few weeks ago as I got fed up of looking for a dress I could feed in.

frankietwospots · 19/05/2014 09:15

That's what I was thinking PastaandCheese. How about a wrap top with harem trousers? Then you can wear the trousers afterwards with a simple vest top and also wear the wrap top with other things too. Add a chunky necklace and sparkly flats and you are good to go!

What kind of colours/shops do you like so we can point you in the right direction?

If you're not Indian (as you're asking I'm presuming you're not, apologies if you are) why are you wanting 'Indian style dress'?

MistletoeBUTNOwine · 20/05/2014 18:10

I just meant something colourful and festive so I don't stick out like a sore thumb Smile

Why can't she wear an indian dress if she's not indian?

Where abouts are you OP? You can get many button up salwar kameez type dresses cheap at local indian shops.

PretzelPrincess · 20/05/2014 18:18

A sari is perfect to be able to feed in. Loads of fabric that drapes. Great whether your Indian or not

MistletoeBUTNOwine · 20/05/2014 18:51

I'm in remote North Yorkshire, no Indian shops round here!!

Leeds & Bradford will have indian shops. Just focus on colour & jewellery, lots of bling to asianify an outfit without having to buy an asian outfit. Heavy makeup, up do & jewellery.
