What are you wearing to your summer weddings this year?

I am going to a beautiful country house wedding next month and am having trouble finding a lovely dress.

Wondered what everyone else had in mind for their summer weddings this year?

A lovely simple and non floaty maxi dress in cobalt blue. With flat sandals (tall).

I detest weddingy outfits though so tend to go a little more casual than most.

A few years ago I went to a wedding where one of the guests wore a little jersey dress with footless tights (in at the time) and heels. She looked great and comfortable. I realised she'd just worn what she's normally wear to get dressed up. I, on the other hand, had trekked round countless shops looking for something 'wedding' and looked and felt uncomfortable.

It was a real epiphany. Never again!

It's hard isn't it. After the beautiful weather today I'm thinking maybe a maxi dress would work, going to have another look now ;)

I've just worn this dress to a wedding - really pleased with it, as not too expensive, flattering fit and not too formal, so I'll wear it again easily :)
