Fake tan: does one which will not make me smell like a turd wrapped in burnt hair actually exist?

I am paler than pale right now and fancy giving myself a 'healthy glow' but every fake tan I try smells horrendous. They all claim to have naice scents but the reality I find is quite the opposite.

Help me mumsnet...Naice smelling fake tan-does one exist?

I think the chemical used in fake tan (sorry no idea what it is) gives off a different smell on different people. On me it smells like wet nappies (nice)! One of my friends says biscuits!

I found the L'Oréal spray tan to be the least offensive.
