I have major paranoia as I think they make my feet look huge!!!! I'm a size 7 so yes I do have big feet any how but they just seem a lot bigger when look down at them does any one else feel the same???

OP posts:
Chocotrekkie · 16/05/2014 20:26

I think it's because they are so narrow.

nannynoss · 16/05/2014 20:26

I never wear mine because I feel the same, and I have size 3 feet!!

suchpickles · 16/05/2014 20:26

I think converse do make all feet look bigger than they are.

But I don't think I have ever noticed the size of anyone else's feet, just my own, I don't think it's something to worry about, not something anyone cares about in other people.

JuanPotatoTwo · 16/05/2014 20:31

I think it's the angle you're looking at them from! I'm sure they look nice but tbh, even if they didn't, I wouldn't care if they were comfortable :)

YouLoveItDoreen · 16/05/2014 20:38

I bought some white leather ones recently, and I agree, I used to have a few pairs when I was younger and never seemed to give much thought about it how big they were. But it seems to haunt me with my new pair. Although that being said, when I look at other people wearing them it isn't something I really notice.

Dickorydockwhatthe · 16/05/2014 20:43

Hopefully it's not noticeable to other people then. I should maybe also plan that I don't wear them with skinny jeans ??

OP posts:
kelda · 16/05/2014 20:44

I've never noticed that, and loads of people where them. They are not dainty little shoes, maybe they just look big in comparison to previous shoes you've worn?

ThisFenceIsComfy · 16/05/2014 20:46

You get used to it. I thought that for a while but now I don't notice it at all.

meringue33 · 16/05/2014 20:46

You definitely don't notice it on other people, so don't worry.

It's all the laces that annoy me on Converse. Now mainly wearing Toms.

BetweenDogandWolf · 16/05/2014 21:00

I don't think my feet look big in them and I'm a 7 too. I even wear them with skinny jeans. I have been wearing them for years though because so few shoes fit my narrow feet so maybe I'm just used to them!
You'll get a better idea of how they look if you get someone to take a photo of you wearing them, I bet you'll think they look fine.

fingersonbuzzers · 16/05/2014 21:03

What colour are they? I have a black pair and a navy pair and don't find that I have that problem but I could imagine feeling like that if they were very bright?

MissBlake · 16/05/2014 21:10

I thought the exact same thing as im a size 8. But then then, lets be honest they not "small" in any footware.

Now I don't notice it at all so either I am used to it or stopped caring. They do look much bigger in red lows than in black hightops.
Never thought it about anyone else though, I think we just think it about ourselves.

ScarlettDarling · 16/05/2014 22:05

Yes!!! I've got a brand new pair of white converse and my size 7 feet look soooo bloody long in them! The fact that they're glow in the dark brand new white doesn't help, can't wait for them to dirty up a bit. But yes, I know exactly what you mean, I wore them with skinnies yesterday and was so self conscious all day!

Mydelilah · 16/05/2014 22:08

totally agree OP. I recently got some red hightops and felt like I had clown feet when I wore them so stopped after 2 outings Sad (I'm size 6) taking heart from pps saying you dont notice after a while and might persevere....
