Looking for a cute baby/toddler rucksack for DD

DD is only 5 months but will be starting at nursery before I know it, plus we have a couple of trips away so I'd like a little backpack for her. DS was easy - just bought a Thomas one - but she has so many hand-me-downs I'd love to get her a nice one she can use for the next few years. I like Cath Kidston style for little girls so has anyone seen anything along those lines? I just keep finding character ones which I don't like.

I got a second hand cath kidston cowboy one for DS. It was in pretty good condition and he loves it. Plenty of room for his little bits.

Full price
You'll probably be able to get one for less than you think, I think I paid £10ish.

SkipHop do some nice backpacks. Animal themed, my daughter has the owl and it's a fab bag. Really good quality and looks great even with daily use.

I was going to say the SkipHop ones as well....DS2 has an monkey one and its lasted really well.

there are some AMAZING back packs in Mamma and Pappas - we got one with a robot print on it. They also had some that were like a Stegasaurus back and a turtle shell. Really cute!

DS loves his Little Life one and can fit a lot of toy cars in it. Doubles up as reins too.

Are you creative (I'm not but I'm lucky that my sister is a girl-wonder with a sewing machine). She made me this:

I got all excited about a nursery backpack for DD and then discovered they were only allowed the simple drawstring variety. Worth bearing in mind. Still got a cute personalised one though Smile

Well I just got an email from Amazon saying there is 25% off selected baby items and the Skip Hop ones were included so got a super cute owl one for £12! Thanks for all the recs - I enjoyed looking.
