Arghhh - all the shops have been Kate Middletoned

I went to the shops today and was so disappointed with what was on offer. The Kare effect is huge. I'm not such a fan of her style and anyway how many women have legs and arms as good as hers. Where can you find non-Kate clothes apart from Cos?

well, whatever you do don't go to LK Bennet.

My life is far too casual for the Kate Middleton look. I mean, it's great for her and her life spent waving, smiling and being so appropriate and charming but it's a bit too laced up for most of us surely?

H&M, Topshop, Zara? I know they're a bit mainstream and boring in their own way but they are not "ladylike" focused.

I love her style but I agree... Not really school run material.

I've been bemoaning the lack if variety of styles (especially sleeves, but also longer skirts) for some years now.

I think it's probably only when a predominant fashion doesn't attract you that you actually notice how very narrow the High Street ranges are, despite the illusion of choice.
