Do anyone else's feet fart in Birkenstocks?

I'm looking for some comfortable and supportive yet not deeply unattractive sandals (I know, the holy grail, along with attractive waterproof coats Smile).

Anything moulded on the feet like Birkenstocks etc and my feet seem to suction to them and make big farty noises Blush. It's not a sweaty feet thing either as they do it with dry feet when I've just put them on.

I got some blowfish sandals with a moulded sole but I'll have to take them back as they make me sound like I've just eaten beans.

Does anyone else have this issue, is there a way to cure my foot wind? I wondered about some sort of insole but I guess they would ruche up on a moulded sole?

I sometimes get feet farts with Converse High Tops. Rather than being embarrassing it makes me awesome. It that's because I wear them to work non preschool Grin

Clarks do sandals with a squidgy inlay, might that help?

Seriously, I sound bloody awful and it's every step trump, trump, trump.

Haven't seen any Clarks I like (I am a little fussy and also have rather long hairy toes, what a catch I am with my farty womble feet). I've seen these. I wonder if the flexible sole would make these less flatulent?

Yes! Birkies make my feet fart.
Fitflops make my feet sweat like stinking pigs.

My feet are quite well-behaved most other times.

My feet have a tendency to sweat too. Fit flops make me look like a golf club- skinny legs and chunky feet.

Why does it have to be so bloody hard to find even slightly stylish yet practical clothes. I walk miles every day so flimsy uncomfortable shoes last me a few weeks. I've been living in my Croc slingbacks so far, there really is no hope for me I think.

Yes occasionally they do. I don't care. I love my Birkenstocks and live in them in dry weather. sorry!

If you get the Clark's version of Birkies, your feet won't fartGrin

My feet do this in my fit flops. I blame the toddler. Bit of a problem when it happens when he's not around though! Grin
