Having been stung in the
past by free delivery but not free returns when ordering clothes online (hefty postage bill to return a coat, signed for...!), would you mind sharing here any retailers you know of that offer both please? Thanks!

Esprit
Zalando
John Lewis (when ordering over £50)
Boden often have a free delivery and returns code too

HappyMedium · 14/05/2014 11:56

Asos

MrPop · 14/05/2014 12:03

asos (free if you order slower delivery or next day free if you order over £100)
atterley road

MrPop · 14/05/2014 12:04

If you can get to the store in question, a lot of shops offer free delivery if you collect in store.

needtobediscreet · 14/05/2014 12:10

Delivery to store no good for me anymore I'm afraid. I no longer work in town so getting there means a special trip in and parking/petrol/train/bus cost which means the same as paying for delivery to home.

If you're sending back the full order quickly, it's always free unless they specify on their website. I go for free returns rather than free delivery as a few do specify that now, but you can always claim delivery back no matter what, as long as you return within 7 days and it's all of the items in the parcel.

squeezycheeseplease · 14/05/2014 12:52

ASOS are very quick these days - always free delivery and returns, usually delivered in 2 days.

Boohoo quick too - free returns, and they often have free delivery over a certain amount.

H&M free returns, usually free delivery codes around, but take forever to refund on your account.

Lots of places have free delivery codes if you ask - send a PM on their FB page, or in store when you are in town (not clothes for you obviously, but Disney Store have cards with free delivery codes that they'll give you, and so do a few other shops).

LightastheBreeze · 14/05/2014 12:55

M & S if you spend more than £50, just free returns if you spend under that.

Longtallsally has free returns, You need a code for free delivery though.

LightastheBreeze · 14/05/2014 12:58

A big thumbs down to Next who never have a free delivery code.

ShoeWhore · 14/05/2014 12:59

Gap has free delivery and returns at the moment (think there might be min spend)

Marylou2 · 14/05/2014 13:34

Boden and ASOS.

EmmaCB1 · 14/05/2014 13:35

I've had flawless customer service from sarenza.co.uk for shoes. Free delivery and returns.

Blackjackcrossed · 14/05/2014 15:04

Big thumbs down for Celtic sheepskin - they offer returns at £10 and even make you pay postage on exchanges! I refuse to deal with them now.
Zara are free as long as you order over £50.

Sonotkylie · 14/05/2014 15:11

Top shop over £50.

Have you checked whether there are any Collect+stores nearby as a lot of suppliers use them for free returns. You can google Collect+ and check the list. I've found a few eg Surfdome and Uniqlo who otherwise make you pay.

Amarena · 14/05/2014 15:16

As said above, Zara delivery is free over £50 and returns are free. I'm impressed with their delivery, normally goes out the next day or same day sometimes (not at sales times) and the returns are always processed quickly.

I won't use online retailers that don't offer free returns. The Mango Outlet has some bargains but after being stung returning a dress to almost the cost of the dress itself, I won't use them anymore!

LoadsaBlusher · 14/05/2014 16:56

Asos ,miss Selfridge and boohoo
Have returned for free with all these

needtobediscreet · 15/05/2014 14:12

Thanks everyone! Plenty of options then.

I'll check click and collect too. Fab that Uniqlo do free returns. I love their stuff but no longer live near a store.

Gap are free over £50 - it says it's a limited offer but it's been on for as long as I can remember. Returns are free and I find delivery really quick to my rural backwater Wink.

Somersetlady · 15/05/2014 14:33

House of Fraser brilliant service

squeezycheeseplease · 15/05/2014 15:48

I find House of Fraser dreadful!

squeezycheeseplease · 15/05/2014 15:50

They gave me an e-voucher when I had sent back within the 14 days (they specifiy 14, not 28 days like most retailers).

I've been trying to spend it for months but the sizes of everything are very odd. Last month, I finally thought I'd found a few things - there was a balance to pay on debit card. Ended up only keeping one thing but their policy is that they take the cash first before using up any of the e-voucher, so I still have the bloody thing!
